G Street Fabrics invites you to our store to view works by Quilter, Artist and local resident Betty Jo Tatum. 

This exhibit will be on display until November 1, 2017.


About Betty Jo Tatum 

She began her sewing at age 4 and made clothing for most of her life. She had a fashion design and tailoring business as a young wife and mothr in Ithaca, NY, where she designed and made bridal dresses, ball gowns, special needs clothing, and men's and women's tailored garmets. Since 2004 she has turned her sewing skills mostly toward art quilts intended for wall, and international competition quilting. She retired in Jan 2012 to become a full time fabric artist.

Most, but not all of the quilts shon here have been shown in national and international quilt shows and many have won ribbons. If you are interested in purchasing one or more of them, please take one of her postcards or business cards, which has her contact information and contact her. Not all quilts are for sale.
