Class Policies

Class Registration Procedures

It is necessary to pre-register for all classes. You will not be notified of acceptance into a class unless we notify  your class is full or has been cancelled. If there is a supply list for the class, it will be sent to you after you register. Supplies are not included in the class fee unless so stated. We suggest that you bring a pen and pad for note taking to your first class and the instructor will let you know if any additional supplies are needed. We provide a Bernina B350 sewing machine to use in our classes. We limit classes to a maximum of 8 people.  All G Street  Fabrics students will receive a 20% discount card to use in the store for the duration of their class. No babies or children are permitted to accompany adults to class. If you have a question about your class please feel free to contact the Education Department at (301) 231-8998 ext. 301

Class Refund Policy

Refunds are available when the customer cancels at least one week before the first class, less a $5 handling fee. Cancellations made after that time will receive a Store Credit, less the $5 handling fee. No refunds or credits can be given once a class has begun. Class supply lists and discount cards will be mailed out prior to the start of a class. Since there is always the possibility that a class may be cancelled due to insufficient enrollment, students should check with the education office before making any major purchases. In the event that a class must be cancelled due to insufficient enroll - ment, individuals who register for that class will be contacted and given the choice of a full refund or the substitution of another course. To help prevent course cancellations, students are urged to register early.
